Finally the assassins have united to bring us the ultimate action/gaming crossover film we've all been waiting for. The new Assassin's Creed film was brought to us by Justin Kurzel which shows a promising start with the historical background of the Templar's efforts to retrieve The Apple of Eden and the Assassins effort to prevent them from getting it.
If you are a true Assassin's Creed fan then this is the movie for you as the cut scenes and story-line is quite amazing but neither the less this movie can, at parts, be a drag.
Where the movie had a lot of action and fight scenes was actually quite amazing. The eagle scenes were the most heart racing 🐦. Unfortunately when it showed the progress of Cal in his prison like "hospital", where he is to be cred of violence, it seemed to be quite long before we entered the historic era again.
The movie may differ in some way to the game we all play and love as it takes on more of a high tech virtual reality which did make the real life scene a lot more interesting then walking around in the actual game. In some sense the whole high tech virtual reality made the film seem more possible as we are now seeing the development of VR headsets.
Over all I would much rather play the game then watch the movie but saying that I would see the movie again because it is still pretty cool. This movie kind of made me want to release the inner Assassin.....minus the killing!
